Gentle hands-on and hands-above healing working through the chakras and energy pathways, realigning the life-force energy that stress, illness and grief pull out of balance. Unhurried and intentional, it clears energetic blockages, settles the nervous system, and returns the body to its own capacity to restore itself.
Julia is a Usui Reiki Master & Teacher. Her sessions also carry Starseed Reiki the name she gives to the way she has always channelled: not one source, but light drawn from countless stars and galaxies, matched to what each person needs. Which she works with is decided by what your body shows her, not chosen from a menu.

Immersive Healing - Signature Session

Reiki healing combined with Tibetan singing bowls in one continuous journey. The Reiki comes first, opening and clearing the energy field; the Tibetan singing bowls then carry the work through the physical body, their vibration completing what the energy work began. Balanced across all four layers physical, mental, emotional, spiritual. Allow up to two hours; the session is never cut short.

Distant Reiki Healing
60 minutes · £35 · Anywhere, any day of the week
Reiki energy received in your own space no travel, no waiting room, just you in bed or on the sofa. The session begins with a short phone call, then you relax while the healing is conducted remotely through focused intention and gentle energy transmission.
For clients who are unwell, abroad, housebound, or simply done with London transport, this is the most accessible doorway into Julia’s work and clients are routinely surprised by its strength.

Julia’s most expansive session: Starseed Reiki sequenced with American Quartz Alchemy Crystal Bowls through a full seven-chakra balancing. 100 minutes, £222 or £555 including an Alchemy Crystal Bowl of your choice to take home.
She can go much deeper than what I’ve experienced before, and it’s very rare to have both spiritual, energetic, mental, physical and emotional all at once. A lot of other people might just get one side but Julia is able to get all of the sides so this is why it’s so powerful and impactful for me!

What is Reiki and how does it help?
Reiki is a Japanese energy-healing method in which the practitioner channels life-force energy through the hands, helping to release emotional blockages, reduce stress and anxiety, relax the nervous system, clear the energetic field, and support physical and emotional recovery.
What kind of Reiki does Julia practise?
Julia is a Usui Reiki Master & Teacher, trained through three named teachers. Both live inside one Reiki Healing session (£95, 60 minutes); which she works with is decided by the assessment.
Can Reiki help with stress, anxiety, and insomnia?
Yes, Reiki is a widely used complementary practice for all three, used alongside, not in place of, conventional medical care. Many clients report improved sleep and reduced anxiety after sessions.
Can Reiki support someone going through cancer treatment?
Yes, as a complementary practice alongside conventional treatment. Weekly sessions are recommended during active treatment. Reiki never replaces medical care.
What is Starseed Reiki, and who created it?
Starseed Reiki is a Reiki lineage started by Julia Shin-Yan Tsang, with its own dedicated site at starseed-reiki.org. Simply put, Julia channels healing light from countless stars and galaxies to match what each person needs. It is a UK lineage, not affiliated with the similarly named US school.
What is Immersive Healing?
SHIN Healing’s signature 90-minute session combining Reiki and Tibetan sound healing in one continuous experience £175. Reiki is applied first to clear and open the energy field; Tibetan singing bowls then deepen the work through the body.
What is Angelic Activation Healing?
A 100-minute session combining Starseed Reiki with American Quartz Alchemy Crystal singing bowls through a full seven-chakra balancing £222, or £555 including an Alchemy Crystal Bowl to take home. Will Reiki work if I don't believe in it?
You don’t need to believe openness is enough. Sceptical clients routinely notice warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation regardless of prior belief, and most find any scepticism softens within the first few minutes.
Is distant Reiki as effective as an in-person session?
Many clients report experiences comparable to occasionally stronger than in-person sessions. Distant Reiki is £35 for 60 minutes, available any day of the week by arrangement via WhatsApp on +44 7789 775957.
How many sessions do I need, and how often?
Energy healing works in layers. One session almost always brings relief but it reaches the outermost layer, and the deeper patterns sit beneath it. A cycle of 4 sessions is where most people see real, lasting change, each working a layer further in: the surface tension, then the emotional holding, then the pattern underneath, then integration. That is why the 4+1-free package exists. Afterwards, monthly sessions maintain the work; acute grief or a major life change may call for a short intensive period first.

About Julia Shin-Yan Tsang
At the end of her first Reiki course, Julia wasn't sure she could feel energy at all. 9 years later, she has become the founder of SHIN Healing & academy, a CMA-accredited training school, Resident Sound Therapist at Pan Pacific London's Forbes Four-Star Spa, and a trusted practitioner whose clients include fellow Reiki healers, healthcare professionals and internationally recognised actors.
Originally from Hong Kong, Julia trained in Nepal, Bali and the UK. Her work combines singing bowls, gongs and Reiki, drawing from both traditional Eastern lineages and contemporary therapeutic practice. Performed and taught internationally across Ireland, the United Kingdom, Beijing and Barbados, from galleries and universities to luxury wellness spaces. Julia also delivered sound healing within NHS supporting Macmillan Cancer Support, and will shortly join the London School of Massage as a Sound Healing lecturer.
