The meaning of “SHIN” 善
The name “SHIN” is derived from the Chinese character 善, pronounced in Cantonese, which signifies goodness, particularly in a person’s words, actions, and morals. The essence of 善 embodies the virtues of benevolence, ethical conduct, and positive influence.
In Hebrew, the letter “Shin” (ש) is the 21st letter of the alphabet, and it is linked to peace, wisdom and understanding. Shin also represents change and transformation, resembling a flame that embodies the transformative power of fire. The shape of the letter itself is reminiscent of a crown, symbolising the pinnacle of spiritual achievement and enlightenment.
Together, these meanings reflect a deep-rooted connection to both ethical and spiritual ideals, encompassing a broad spectrum of goodness, protection, transformation, peace, wisdom, and enlightenment.
