Over the past year, I’ve been invited to perform for Sleeping Concert in Leeds University and Beijing’s Cultural Palace of Nationalities, sound can be shaped into restorative spaces in a deeper and more intentional way.
This year in London, we’ve created the harp version – Classical Calm: Harmonic Stillness: a new immersive sound experience I’ve co-created with harpist and University of Southampton lecturer Kate Ham.
Designed for just 12 guests, this intimate 75-minute session combines live concert harp with crystal and bronze singing bowls in a lying-down setting focused on deep rest, nervous system regulation, and immersive listening.
Unlike a traditional concert or sound bath, Classical Calm sits somewhere between live performance and restorative wellness experience. The intention is to create an environment where guests can fully slow down, disconnect from overstimulation, and experience sound as something physical, spacious, and grounding.
Kate brings an incredible level of musical sensitivity through her harp performance, drawing from her background in classical and contemporary music. Together, we’ve developed a sound journey where live harp and resonant bowls interact organically within the space — creating layered tones designed to support calm, stillness, and presence.
As someone working within wellness and restorative practices, I’ve noticed how many people — especially those living and working in fast-paced cities like London — are searching for experiences that genuinely allow them to pause. Not just wellness as another activity, but experiences that feel immersive, thoughtful, and emotionally restorative. That’s very much the intention behind Classical Calm.
This debut edition will also introduce SHIN’s new collection of crystal and bronze singing bowls, selected for their rich resonance and immersive acoustic quality within meditation, healing, and sensory wellness settings.
Because this is our first pilot event ahead of a wider launch, the evening will also be documented through videography and photography for creative and promotional purposes. Guests may also be invited to share optional testimonials after the session. As a thank you token, tickets for the debut event are currently priced around 30% lower than future editions. I sincerely invite you to come along!
